| Environmental Safety | 100% Recyclable (Greencast/R-MMA grades available) |
| Fire Safety | Rated to [UL 94] Class HB / B2 (Standard DIN 4102) |
| Sanitary Safety | FDA & EU Certified for [Food Contact] (Specific grades only) |
Engineering and Material Selection Guide (Cast vs. Extruded)
Understanding the difference between Cast (GS) and Extruded (XT) is critical for material selection. Cast PMMA: Produced in small batches, it offers superior surface finish, higher chemical resistance, and is the industry standard for laser cutting and complex machining. Extruded PMMA: Mass-produced with tighter thickness tolerances, making it more economical for large-format glazing and high-volume production. Thermal Warning: PMMA has a Max Service Temp of approximately 80 degrees Celsius; exceeding this will cause the material to soften and lose dimensional stability.
| Application Focus | Optimized for technical glazing, laboratory equipment, [Machine Guards], and lighting diffusers. |
| Thermal Limits | Continuous service up to 70°C to 80°C depending on grade and load. |
| Surface Finish | Available in High-Gloss, Frosted (Satin), and Anti-Reflective textures. |
| Impact Strength | 10x higher than glass; for extreme impact, consider [Polycarbonate (PC)]. |
| Thickness Range | Available from 2.0mm to 30mm+ in standard industrial sheet sizes. |
