SRT Plastics PC – Translucent Opal is a white, opaque solid polycarbonate sheet engineered for long-term outdoor use. It features a UV-stabilized surface on one or both sides, protecting the material against yellowing and degradation from sun exposure.

This sheet is virtually unbreakable, with exceptional impact resistance and thermal stability, making it ideal for environments where safety and durability are critical. Its opal-white finish ensures soft, uniform light diffusion, making it the go-to choice for applications that combine functionality with clean, aesthetic appeal.

Exceptional Impact Strength

SRT Plastics' Translucent Opal polycarbonate is 10× stronger than high-impact acrylic and more than 2× stronger than PETG. Despite this strength, the sheet is easy to machine, cold-bend, vacuum-form, or thermoform, even into complex shapes. It delivers superior performance without sacrificing workability.

Fire-Safe Performance

This material meets the requirements of EN 13501-1 (European fire classification for construction materials). In case of fire, the sheet melts rather than ignites, creating ventilation openings for heat and smoke to escape. It does not support flame propagation, helping to slow the spread of fire.
