Our solid polycarbonate sheets (PC) are completely transparent and clear, offering an ideal alternative to glass. Thanks to the UVP coating, they are highly resistant to UV radiation, which prevents yellowing and degradation over time. These sheets are extremely strong — up to 250 times more impact-resistant than glass of the same thickness.

Exceptional Impact Resistance

The impact resistance of SRT Plastics PC – Clear Transparent UVP is ten times higher than high-impact acrylic and twice as high as PETG. Despite this superior toughness, the material remains easy to machine, thermoform, and bend into complex shapes.

Outstanding Fire Performance

This material complies with the European fire safety standard EN13501-1 for building and construction applications. Its oxygen index is too low to sustain combustion without an active flame, making the sheet self-extinguishing under normal conditions. In the event of fire, SRT Plastics PC – Clear Transparent UVP will melt and create openings that allow heat and smoke to escape the structure, without contributing to flame propagation.
