Switching to sustainable materials shouldn't mean lowering your standards. SRT PMMA-RC bridges the gap between environmental responsibility and high-end engineering. By recovering technical scrap from the production stream, we provide a sheet that offers the pristine clarity of glass with half the weight and significantly higher impact resistance.
Designed for LEED and BREEAM certified projects, this material contributes to the circular economy by using approximately 50% regrind. It is free from halogens and heavy metals, ensuring it is safe for use in public spaces and fully recyclable at the end of its life cycle.
SRT Recycled Acrylic maintains a light transmission of 92% (3mm thickness), making it optically superior to standard glass. It features a high surface hardness and excellent rigidity. Unlike some recycled plastics which can yellow, our PMMA-RC is UV-stabilized, guaranteeing long-term transparency even in outdoor applications.
This material is fabrication-friendly. It can be laser cut to leave a polished edge without the need for additional finishing. It is also suitable for CNC milling, drilling, and solvent bonding using standard acrylic adhesives (e.g., Acrifix), allowing for seamless integration into existing production lines.
Ideal for eco-conscious retail roll-outs. Use this material to fabricate sustainable point-of-sale displays and shelving units that meet strict environmental procurement guidelines without sacrificing the high-gloss, premium finish expected in luxury retail environments.
